MEET CHEF DYLAN
In case we haven’t already met, hi, I’m Chef Dylan. Australian born Chef of over 20 years, purveyor of pristine ingredients and passionate flavour crusader.
The son of working-class parents, the value of hard, honest work has long been instilled in me. And while I once dreamed of being a philosopher, my love for cookery and creativity led me to a career in the culinary arts.
After traversing the world, working with some of the best chefs, I discovered the importance of pure natural ingredients. The tastiest food was borne out of respect for nature’s pristine produce.
Imagine then my frustration when I returned home to Australia and couldn’t find unadulterated meat rubs or seasonings on the market. At the time, I was setting up my first restaurant in SE Qld. Exasperatingly, I found commercially available mixes to be highly processed with ridiculous amounts of sugar and needless other unhealthy additives.
This was not what I wanted on my prime cuts of meat. So I developed my own.
ABOUT
CREATING TANTILISING GLOBAL FLAVOURS
Drawing on the generational knowledge of locals I met on my travels. I created my very own handcrafted all natural gourmet range with global flavours that pay homage to their cultures.
During my restauranteur days my customers adored the full-flavour of natural ingredients treated right. For them, it was a tantalising taste they couldn’t get enough of.
And now I'm offering you that same experience at home. With my go-to handcrafted seasonings and small batch sauces you not only have a quick and easy solution for a delicious and nutritious meal, you too can be a culinary maestro.
With my unique spice blends and sauces your family will be begging you to fire up the barbie. Your friends will be in awe of your mad skills, and the neighbours will be drooling over the fence.
But it gets even better.
GOOD FOR THE PLANET,
GOOD FOR US
I endeavour to source ingredients ethically and directly from family-farmers wherever possible.
For the generational farmers who call beautiful South East Queensland home, farming is more than just earning a living, it's a way of life. These guys, unlike the corporate giants, care about the land they work on and take pride in their produce.
Their produce, spices and herbs are hand-prepped and mixed by myself at my small commercial kitchen on Mount Tamborine.
Even our sustainable glass jars are hand-labelled by us. Why? Because glass is nonporous and won't leach chemicals into products over time. Glass can also be recycled preventing us from creating uneccessary waste.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
For every carton sold, $5 goes to help aspiring young entrepreneurs from tough social-economic grounds learn about product development, money management and business development.
What does this all mean?
It means that when you buy from us, you are supporting an entire community built on transparency, friendship and accountability.
So, not only will you be lord of the BBQ, you’ll be a hero as well.
